Corporate Partners Program

2-1-1's funding strategy is driven by three philosophies:  Achieving a diversified funding base that reflects our roots as a broad private-public-nonprofit collaboration; creating sustainable, mission-driven revenue streams through income-generating products and services, from our published guide, Community Connection, to contracts for services; and providing a value-added return on the investments of our corporate funding partners.

As part of this third goal, 2-1-1 is continuously seeking new founding corporate partners who desire to build a community legacy for their brand. Three to four additional partners are sought to share in the underwriting of the last phase of staff expansion required to meet projected demand for 2-1-1 service. These major corporate partners will stand with us when 2-1-1 "flips the switch" that turns on 2-1-1 dialing in San Bernardino County, key founders in creating this new community-wide tool.

Co-Founding a Community Institution

2-1-1's Corporate Partners Program is designed to provide value to partners beyond the goodwill generated by sharing credit for bringing 2-1-1 service to the San Bernardino region. 2-1-1 believes its corporate funders should receive tangible and quantifiable benefits that further corporate business goals in return for their investment.

Co-Branded Marketing Opportunities

Corporate partners will be prominently branded in the 2-1-1 launch year marketing campaign, which is intended to begin the process of building name recognition for 2-1-1 to 90% of San Bernardino County residents by 2010. The marketing program will utilize free and paid advertising on 2-1-1's television, radio, print and internet launch partners, plus news stories and case studies, community outreach, public service announcements, flyers, collateral, and a speaker's bureau.

The logos of major partners will be prominently branded in printed materials, collateral, and advertising. Partners will be credited in press releases, and their logos will be featured on the 2-1-1 website, where more than 40,000 county residents per year are expected to search the 2-1-1 database of services.
