IEHP was created in 1996 by Riverside and San Bernardino counties to serve as the Local Initiative HMO providing quality health care to the Medi-Cal population. IEHP currently serves over 290,000 Medi-Cal, Healthy Families, Healthy Kids and Commercial Members in the Inland Empire.

While much energy and resource is directed at creating and funding new services, our experience at IEHP has shown that the challenge is often finding appropriate services that already exist.
