San Bernardino County’s 2-1-1 system has been developed by a dedicated team of staff professionals working with the 2-1-1 Advisory Committee, a collaboration of government, nonprofit and other professionals.

“California’s seniors can call the Senior Legal Hotline to receive free, telephone-based legal advice and brief services. With our limited resources, the Hotline struggles to ensure that local I&R providers understand our services and can distinguish us from local Legal Aids and other programs. We see tremendous potential in a statewide 2-1-1 network. Through a single contact, we could reach all comprehensive I&R providers across the state. With current and accurate information, 2-1-1 call specialists could direct appropriate calls to our Hotline. As a result, we’d able to focus our resources on providing services to those seniors who can most benefit.”
